MEDICAL LETTERS · GMC GP

Fitness to fly, signed with care.

A letter confirming you are medically fit to fly — commonly required by airlines after recent surgery, during pregnancy, or with a stable medical condition. Assessed and signed by a GMC-registered GP.

What this letter covers

  • Confirmation you are fit to travel by air
  • Relevant clinical background for the airline
  • Any equipment, oxygen or medication notes
  • Signed by a GMC-registered GP on headed paper

Who it's for

Passengers after recent surgery, in later pregnancy, or with a medical condition an airline needs confirmed.

How to arrange it

Book a short appointment with one of our GMC-registered GPs. Where the letter needs a clinical assessment we'll complete it during your visit; more detailed reports may be issued shortly afterwards. Every letter is based on a genuine assessment of your record and circumstances — never a template.
