Walk in any time during clinic hours, 9am–7pm, Monday to Saturday. No appointment required. Most patients are seen within 15 minutes of arriving. If you'd rather we held a slot for you, call ahead — reception answers around the clock.

A&E is for life-threatening emergencies — major trauma, severe chest pain, suspected stroke, severe bleeding, breathing difficulty. They have the specialists, surgeons and resuscitation equipment for those situations.

Our urgent care is for everything else that genuinely needs to be seen today but isn't life-threatening — fevers, infections, pain, minor injuries, sudden symptoms. We see you in minutes rather than hours, with no triage queue.

If you're unsure, call us. Reception will tell you honestly which is right for you.

Just yourself. If you have a list of medications you're already on, that's helpful. Photo ID is useful if you're claiming on insurance. You don't need to register or sign up beforehand — we'll do that at reception.

Yes — if you genuinely need them. Our doctors prescribe antibiotics when a bacterial infection is diagnosed and the clinical picture warrants treatment. We won't prescribe them for viral illnesses (where they don't work and cause harm), and we follow UK antimicrobial stewardship guidance. If you do need them, the treatment is issued during your visit and dispensed at any UK pharmacy.

Yes — we see paediatric patients for urgent care including fevers, rashes, ear infections, vomiting and minor injuries. For under-1s or severely unwell children, please call first so reception can advise whether to come to us or go straight to a paediatric A&E. The Royal London Hospital has a dedicated children's emergency department five minutes away.

Most major UK insurers cover urgent care consultations — Bupa, AXA Health, Vitality, Aviva, Cigna and WPA all work with us. Pre-authorise with your insurer before you come in, especially out of hours. If pre-auth isn't possible (genuine emergency walk-in), pay on the day and claim back — we'll provide an itemised invoice.

We don't have X-ray or CT on site, but we can arrange same-day or next-day imaging with our partner imaging centres in central London. For genuine hospital admission, we'll arrange a direct admission to a private hospital (via your insurer) or refer you straight to the appropriate NHS service — whichever is faster and more appropriate.

A private GP appointment is for planned, non-urgent care — things you'd normally book your NHS GP for: chronic conditions, repeat treatments, screening, ongoing concerns. Urgent care is for something acute that's happened today and needs attention now. Same doctors, same diagnostics, same clinic — just a different reason for coming in. The fee is the same.
