How much does a private GP cost?

Private GP consultations at our Whitechapel clinic start from £59, with transparent pricing and no hidden costs. Full pricing for every service — 96 published prices — including blood tests, ultrasound, ADHD assessments and specialist consultations is listed on our fees page.

Do I need a GP referral?

No referral needed for most appointments — you can book directly with a private GP, ultrasound, blood tests or many of our specialist services. A small number of consultant clinics prefer a referral letter, which our GPs can issue same-day if needed.

How quickly can I be seen?

Most private GP appointments are available the same day, including evenings and weekends. We're open Monday to Saturday 9am–7pm at our Whitechapel clinic, serving patients across East London, the City of London, Aldgate and Liverpool Street.

Do you accept private medical insurance?

Many appointments are self-pay with an itemised invoice you can submit to Bupa, AXA, Vitality, Aviva or Cigna for reimbursement where applicable. Please contact our reception team to confirm your specific insurance arrangement before booking.

We're at 97-99 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1DT, in East London. Aldgate East is the closest station, just a few minutes' walk away. Whitechapel station (Elizabeth, District & Hammersmith & City lines and the Overground) and Liverpool Street are also nearby — a short journey from the City of London. About Dr Bolat

A GP who built this clinic.

Dr Bolat trained at one of London's main medical schools, qualifying as a doctor before completing GP specialist training in the UK and gaining membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has spent more than a decade working in NHS and private general practice in London, with particular focus on East London communities.

He co-founded Tower Bridge Hospital London with the aim of building a clinic that takes time over its appointments, is honest about what private GP work can and can't fix, and refers onward without commission or hidden incentives when a consultant is needed. As CQC-registered manager, he holds clinical responsibility for the clinic's regulatory standards.

Day-to-day, Dr Bolat is the GP many of our patients see first — for everything from a same-day urgent concern, to a structured health check, to ongoing management of long-term conditions like hypertension or type 2 diabetes. Men's health

Dermatology & minor procedures

Skin lesion assessment, mole checks, minor skin surgery, cyst and lipoma removal, suspicious-lesion triage with onward dermatology referral when needed. All excisions are sent for histology.

Standard appointment

Most GP consultations are 15–20 minutes; some health checks and chronic-disease reviews are 30 minutes. You'll be seen in a single appointment, with bloods or ECG (if needed) usually done on the same visit by our nurse team.

Follow-up

Results from on-site bloods are typically back within 24–48 hours via TDL (our laboratory partner). Follow-up consultations are scheduled to discuss results, refine treatment, or make onward referrals. With your consent, Dr Bolat writes to your NHS GP so your record stays joined-up.

Onward referrals

Where your case needs a hospital consultant, Dr Bolat refers to a panel of trusted specialists across London, matched to your specific need (cardiology, gastroenterology, urology, orthopaedics, etc). We don't take commission or referral fees from any external provider.

Insurance & self-pay
