How it works

From booking to prescription

  1. Book a slot online — same-day, early and late appointments are usually available.
  2. Join a secure video link, or take a phone call, at your chosen time.
  3. The GP assesses you, advises, and prescribes or refers if needed.
  4. Any prescription is sent to a pharmacy of your choice.
  5. With your consent, a summary goes to your NHS GP.

Some problems need an in-person look

Video is excellent for advice, many infections, prescriptions and follow-ups. But some conditions need a physical examination — if so, we’ll tell you honestly and arrange a same-day clinic visit rather than guess.

Safe, joined-up care

Every appointment is with a GMC-registered doctor

You’re seen at our CQC-registered Whitechapel clinic by a GMC-registered doctor. We keep clear, confidential records and, with your consent, send a summary to your NHS GP so your care stays joined up.

You don’t need to be registered with us, and a private appointment doesn’t replace being registered with an NHS GP. A chaperone is available for any examination on request, at no charge. We prescribe responsibly, in line with GMC guidance and antimicrobial stewardship.

What we don’t do here

  • We are not an emergency service. For anything serious or life-threatening — chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, heavy bleeding, a collapse — call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent-but-not-emergency advice, NHS 111 is available 24/7. The Royal London Hospital A&E is about 5 minutes’ walk away.
  • We are an outpatient clinic and do not provide hospital admission or inpatient care.
  • A private GP appointment complements, but does not replace, being registered with an NHS GP.
  • We only issue controlled medication after a proper assessment and appropriate checks — not on demand, and with shared care where relevant.

Being clear about our limits keeps you safe. For emergencies use 999 or A&E; for urgent advice, NHS 111.

Can you prescribe in a video appointment?

Yes, when it’s clinically appropriate — the prescription is sent to a pharmacy of your choice.

Can I get a sick note online?

Yes, after an assessment we can issue a private sick/fit note.

I’m travelling — can you still help?

Often yes, for UK-based advice and prescriptions. Some issues have limits, which we’ll explain.

What if I need examining?

We’ll arrange an in-person clinic appointment, usually the same day.
