Full-Body MRI Health Screening

A full-body MRI is a radiation-free scan that looks across the major organs and regions of the body in a single session — used for early detection and peace of mind. We assess your suitability, arrange the scan and make sure results are explained and acted on.

If your child is seriously unwell — call 999 or take them to A&E. We're a private outpatient service, not an emergency service. The Royal London Hospital (5 minutes' walk) has a paediatric A&E.

What it is

A broad look, no radiation

Full-body MRI uses powerful magnets (no X-rays) to image the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis and major vessels. It’s popular for proactive health checks and for people with a family history or general health anxiety who want reassurance.

  • Radiation-free imaging of the major organs and regions
  • Can detect many significant abnormalities early
  • A clear, written radiologist report
  • A clinician to talk you through what it means and next steps

How we run it

Assessed here, scanned with our partners

We start with a consultation to check suitability (MRI isn’t suitable for everyone — for example certain implants), agree the right protocol, and arrange the scan and expert reporting through our imaging partners. You then have a follow-up to discuss the findings and any onward steps.

This is an assess, scan and refer service. Where treatment or specialist management is needed, we arrange it promptly through our trusted consultant and imaging partners.

Honest expectations

What screening can and can’t do

No single scan finds everything, and screening can pick up harmless findings that need further tests. We’ll explain the benefits and limitations honestly so you can decide, and we integrate results with your wider care.

Safe, joined-up care

GMC-registered clinicians, CQC-registered clinic

You’re seen by GMC-registered clinicians at our CQC-registered Whitechapel clinic. We keep clear, confidential records and, with your consent, share a summary with your NHS GP so your care stays joined up. A chaperone is available for any examination on request, at no charge.

You don’t need to be registered with us, and private care complements — it doesn’t replace — being registered with an NHS GP.

What we don’t do here

  • We are not an emergency service. For anything serious or life-threatening, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent advice any time, NHS 111 is available 24/7.
  • We are an outpatient clinic and do not provide hospital admission or inpatient care.
  • Private care and screening complement, and do not replace, being registered with an NHS GP or national NHS screening programmes.
  • This is an assess, scan and refer service. Where treatment or specialist management is needed, we arrange it promptly through our trusted consultant and imaging partners.

Fees

Clear, up-front pricing

Consultation and assessment fees are set out on our price list, and any tests or treatments are explained and priced clearly before you go ahead — no surprises. Some services are priced on enquiry; just ask the clinic team.

Common questions

Does full-body MRI use radiation?

No. MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves, not X-rays, so there’s no ionising radiation.

Will it find everything?

No screening test detects every condition, and MRI has limits (for example, it isn’t the best test for the lungs or bowel). We advise where a different or additional test is better.

Is MRI suitable for everyone?

Most people, but not those with certain metal implants or devices. We check your suitability carefully before booking.

Who reports the scan?

Expert consultant radiologists via our imaging partners, with a clear written report and a follow-up consultation to explain it.
