What’s included

Key organs, one appointment

Each package bundles a set of ultrasound scans to give a broad, radiation-free overview of your health. It’s ideal for reassurance, a general check, or following up vague symptoms.

  • Well Woman — pelvic (uterus & ovaries), kidneys and bladder, upper abdomen (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen), plus thyroid on request
  • Well Man — kidneys and bladder, prostate/post-void residual, upper abdomen, plus testicular or thyroid on request
  • Add-ons available: carotid or aortic (AAA) screening

How it works

Scanned and reported the same visit

An experienced sonographer performs the scans and gives you a same-visit written report. Where a finding needs a specialist, we explain it clearly and arrange prompt onward referral.

What it is and isn’t

Honest about screening

Ultrasound is excellent for many organs but doesn’t see everything (for example, it isn’t a substitute for national cancer screening programmes or for scans like mammography, CT or MRI). We’ll always advise if a different test is more appropriate.

Safe, joined-up care

GMC-registered clinicians, CQC-registered clinic

You’re seen by GMC-registered clinicians at our CQC-registered Whitechapel clinic. We keep clear, confidential records and, with your consent, share a summary with your NHS GP so your care stays joined up. A chaperone is available for any examination on request, at no charge.

You don’t need to be registered with us, and private care complements — it doesn’t replace — being registered with an NHS GP.

What we don’t do here

  • We are not an emergency service. For anything serious or life-threatening, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent advice any time, NHS 111 is available 24/7.
  • We are an outpatient clinic and do not provide hospital admission or inpatient care.
  • Private care and screening complement, and do not replace, being registered with an NHS GP or national NHS screening programmes.

Common questions

What’s the difference between the two packages?

They scan the organs most relevant to each — the Well Woman package includes a pelvic scan; the Well Man package includes prostate and bladder assessment. Both cover the kidneys and upper abdomen.

Do I need to prepare?

Usually a full bladder and, for abdominal views, a few hours without food. We’ll send you clear instructions when you book.

Is it radiation-free?

Yes — ultrasound uses sound waves, with no radiation, so it’s very safe.

What happens if you find something?

You get a same-visit report, and anything needing attention is explained and referred promptly to the right specialist.
