Do I need a GP referral?

No referral needed for most appointments — you can book directly with a private GP, ultrasound, blood tests or many of our specialist services. A small number of consultant clinics prefer a referral letter, which our GPs can issue same-day if needed.

How quickly can I be seen?

Most private GP appointments are available the same day, including evenings and weekends. We're open 7 days a week 9am–7pm at our Whitechapel clinic, serving patients across East London, the City of London, Aldgate and Liverpool Street.

Do you accept private medical insurance?

Many appointments are self-pay with an itemised invoice you can submit to Bupa, AXA, Vitality, Aviva or Cigna for reimbursement where applicable. Please contact our reception team to confirm your specific insurance arrangement before booking.

For the UAE, the official residence-visa medical fitness test is carried out inside the UAE after arrival, at health-authority centres (such as DHA in Dubai or SEHA in Abu Dhabi) — it cannot be completed in the UK. A UK medical for the UAE is therefore usually a pre-departure fitness check, or a specific report an employer requests, rather than the official Emirates ID / residence medical.

About the route. The official UAE residence medical is done in the UAE. The mandatory fitness-to-reside test (screening for HIV, tuberculosis and other conditions) is completed at an approved centre in the UAE after you arrive, as part of your Emirates ID and residence process.
