When it’s more than minor
We’ll direct you safely
Some injuries need A&E or an X-ray
Suspected fractures, deep or heavily bleeding wounds, and head injuries need emergency or imaging services. We’ll assess you and direct you to the right place — including arranging an X-ray or A&E when needed.

Every appointment is with a GMC-registered doctor
You’re seen at our CQC-registered Whitechapel clinic by a GMC-registered doctor. We keep clear, confidential records and, with your consent, send a summary to your NHS GP so your care stays joined up.
You don’t need to be registered with us, and a private appointment doesn’t replace being registered with an NHS GP. A chaperone is available for any examination on request, at no charge. We prescribe responsibly, in line with GMC guidance and antimicrobial stewardship.
What we don’t do here
- We are not an emergency service. For anything serious or life-threatening — chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, heavy bleeding, a collapse — call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent-but-not-emergency advice, NHS 111 is available 24/7. The Royal London Hospital A&E is about 5 minutes’ walk away.
- We are an outpatient clinic and do not provide hospital admission or inpatient care.
- A private GP appointment complements, but does not replace, being registered with an NHS GP.
- We only issue controlled medication after a proper assessment and appropriate checks — not on demand, and with shared care where relevant.
Being clear about our limits keeps you safe. For emergencies use 999 or A&E; for urgent advice, NHS 111.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome; booking a slot guarantees a time.
Can you stitch or glue a cut?
Small wounds, yes — deep or complex ones we’ll assess and direct to A&E.
Can you treat a UTI today?
Yes — usually assessed and treated in the same visit.
What about a possible broken bone?
We’ll assess it and arrange an X-ray or A&E as appropriate.

Our private GPs see minor illnesses and injuries the same day on most days: coughs, colds and flu-like illness, sore throat and tonsillitis, ear infections and sinusitis, chest infections, urinary symptoms and UTIs, vomiting and diarrhoea, headaches, rashes and allergic reactions, as well as sprains, strains, small cuts and wounds.
A GP consultation is £140, with wound dressings from £50. We are at 97–99 Whitechapel Road, E1 — close to Aldgate East and Whitechapel — and open 9am–7pm, 7 days a week. For serious injuries, head injuries with confusion, chest pain or breathing difficulty, call 999 or attend A&E.
